The People of Peace

The Hopi people of North America possess a rich ancestral culture whose principles closely resemble those of Gnostic anthropology.

The use of universal symbols, a history mentioning various races that have been wiped off the face of the Earth by the elements, an apocalyptic future that will lead us to a new beginning.

Even more fascinating is the mention of ancestral gods with the appearance of ants. This joins thousands of testimonies from around the world of an extraterrestrial race with this peculiar appearance. Unfortunately, like most indigenous peoples, this peaceful people suffered attacks from the white man, the modern civilized man, who tried to assimilate them by force.

Hopituh Shi-nu-mu

The Hopis, a contraction of Hopituh Shi-nu-mu, “the people of peace,” are part of the Native American Pueblo group in North America. The Hopis live in the northeast of Arizona, in the Four Corners region, a very arid area.

The Hopi language is part of the Uto-Aztecan languages. In the 1930s, linguist Benjamin Lee Whorf wrote that the Hopi language had no word to express time, which suggested that this people had a different perception of time than Europeans.

The Hopis’ origin story tells of creation made in stages:

  • The first world Tokpela (the infinite space). From infinity, the creator Taiowa created the finite world with lands, animals, and humans. When humans became evil, this world was destroyed by fire. The spared humans were guided to a new world above;
  • Tokpa (dark midnight) the second world, which was eventually covered in ice after humans climbed to the third world;
  • Kuskurza (the meaning of the term is lost), this third world associated with the east direction and the color red was swallowed under water. Humans had to find the passage to a new world by themselves;
  • Tuwaqachi (the whole world) the fourth world is the one humans still inhabit, its direction is north, its color sikyangpu a yellow-white.
  • A prophecy predicts the end of this fourth world; survivors will climb to a fifth.

The Hopis are very prolific in symbols. They notably used the swastika to represent the clans’ wanderings.
