Lately, my efforts have focused on translating the book Contato com os discos voadores (in Brazilian Portuguese). The book is by Oswaldo Oliveira Pedrosa, also known as Dino Kraspedon.
If you’ve read my previous article “Félix vs Pedrosa,” you’ll understand that this project posed a major challenge. I wanted to produce a translation of the original version — the first edition written by Oswaldo Pedrosa — without the alterations made by Aladino Félix. But to do so, I had to either get my hands on a copy of that first edition, which is practically mission impossible given the tiny number of copies said to have circulated in 1957, or manage to obtain a copy of the 1995 edition. However, after a 1997 court ruling in Brazil that prohibited Pedrosa from using the pseudonym “Dino Kraspedon,” that edition stopped being distributed and can now only be found in rare bookstores in Brazil (inaccessible internationally).
So I was left with one option: to compare various PDFs found online, hoping that luck would be on my side. And I believe that’s exactly what happened…
One of the PDFs I found didn’t match the others. It was shorter. And according to the information I’d gathered during my research, the first edition had only 188 pages, compared to 222 in Félix’s Brazilian edition (and even more in the English edition).
After analyzing and comparing the content of this PDF, I concluded that it had undoubtedly been created from a copy of the first edition. The amount of content matched the 188 pages. Wonderful! I could now identify Aladino Félix’s additions and begin the translation.
I’d like to make a quick aside here to mention that I was able to find information on the first edition. One copy had been for sale in 2022 at an auction, and the listing was still visible online. This allowed me to get my hands on a few precious photos of the first edition. I could then confirm that the cover was the same (so it hadn’t been designed by Félix), and that the illustrations and footnotes were also the same. Now, let’s close that parenthesis.
Aladino Félix’s Modifications
Roughly speaking, the modifications that had been made to Pedrosa’s book are as follows:
- a four (4) page preface dated November 1, 1957
- a question and answer was modified in the chapter “Cancellation of Gravity”
- five (5) pages were added to the chapter “Cancellation of Gravity”
- one (1) page was added to the chapter “Author’s Note”
- a paragraph was added to the chapter “Astronavigation”
- one (1) page was added to the chapter “General Remarks”
- seventeen (17) pages were added to the chapter “The Experience of Olaf Roemer,” including six (6) illustrations
It should also be mentioned that in the English version, a drawing of a saucer was added, as well as an entire chapter entitled “The Aberration of Light.”
My Improvements
The first obvious improvement I made to this book is the cover, which was modernized using AI.
Next, throughout the book, the author mentions several scientists who made history. I thought it would be interesting for the reader to see the faces of these people while reading. So I added photos of most of them.
I also had to clean up the original graphics from the book and translate them. Here’s an example:
And to make the book (which is quite complex) easier to read, I moved the footnotes to the end of the book, along with the notes accompanying the illustrations. These notes are not necessary for understanding the main text and are often lengthy.
In Conclusion
Now, when reading this book, you’ll find that its content is unique and extraordinary. Because it deals not only with how saucers work, but also with the danger of misusing atomic energy, as well as a giant planet heading straight for our solar system. Note : An english version base on the first edition will be available soon.
I tell you that another sun will soon enter our planetary system, and we will have an enviable system of twin suns. In fact, this is one of the reasons we are here.

Samael Aun Weor nous parle de Kraspedon
In Brazil, near Paraná, a cosmic ship landed in the presence of a famous scientist named Kraspedon. The captain of this ship invited the aforementioned scientist to visit his ship.
This scientist was able to see not only the interior of the ship but also its crew.
The captain of this ship said he came from a satellite of the planet Jupiter. He spoke in perfect Spanish, and promised the scientist to reciprocate his visit. When Mr. Kraspedon wanted to give the captain his address, it wasn’t necessary; the captain declined the offer saying, “We know perfectly well how to find you on Earth.”
Six months later on an ordinary Sunday, shut within his study at home, Mr. Kraspedon was suddenly interrupted by his wife who informed him that a man was at the door wishing to speak to him. She told him this man had a Bible in his hand, and he insisted on explaining it.
Mr. Kraspedon ordered his wife to dismiss the visitor and close the door. Moments later, the lady returned, informing her husband that the aforementioned visitor did not want to leave and insisted on talking to him.
A little bit upset, the scientist decided to leave his study and go to the door to attend to the visitor. He was very surprised to encounter face-to-face the captain of the cosmic ship he had met six months before.
Mr. Kraspedon invited the visitor in, taking him into his living room. Then came the conversation. The aforementioned scientist wanted to examine the intellectual capacities of the Jupiterian and, with very complicated questions about the Bible drove him into a very diffcult alley.
This visitor proved to possess a very brilliant intelligence since he knew even the most intimate roots of Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic, and knew how to give to the Holy Scriptures highly scientific, deeply philosophical, extraordinarily artistic, and transcendentally mystical interpretations.
After that interview, there were two more interviews in different places of the city, which the aforementioned scientist attended accompanied by a professor of physics and mathematics.
The teachings given by the Jupiterian in the field of astronomy were truly formidable; all that knowledge is transcendental.
Mr. Kraspedon is a serious scientist; he is not a charlatan. He decided to condense all the knowledge the Jupiterian gave him into a beautiful book written in Portuguese, entitled My Contact with Flying Saucers.
The Jupiterian warned that atomic explosions were altering the upper layer of the Earth’s atmosphere. This layer is the supreme filter that breaks down and deconstructs solar rays, transforming them into light and heat.
The Jupiterian said if atomic scientists continued their nuclear explosions, the day would come when the supreme filter would then be unable to break down and deconstruct sunrays into light and heat; then we would see the Sun black as silicon, the Moon red as blood, and upon the face of the Earth, a ferruginous-red color.
The Jupiterian warned that decay of the upper layer of Earth’s atmosphere, which sustains life on Earth, would bring great earthquakes, and cities would fall to dust like a castle of cards.
The Jupiterian informed him the space navigators who visit the Earth are already seeing the upper layer of Earth’s atmosphere in a clear process of alteration, lacking the brilliance and splendor of other times.
The Jupiterian said thermonuclear war will saturate the water we drink, the crops that sustain us, the clouds that bring the rains, etc., with atomic radiations.
The Jupiterian warned that atomic radiation will damage phosphorus in the brain of human beings, and everywhere one will see Dantean scenes in the streets, hospitals full of people, multiplication of cancer and leukemia, millions and millions of dead people, hunger and despair.
