The Columbus Expedition
Following up on my article on the subject of the planet Mars and Mr. Narciso Genovese, I decided to publish an open letter written by V.M. Samael Aun Weor in 1964, which was part of a document titled “The Cosmic Ships” (original title: Las Naves Cósmicas). In this letter, the Master addresses the Presidents of the United States and Russia. He explains that a team of scientists (including Mr. Narciso Genovese) has already achieved the conquest of interplanetary space.
Open letter — Mexico, April 29, 1964
Most illustrious Mr. President of the United States of America.
Mr. Prime Minister of the Soviet Union
Please excuse us for not mentioning your names and surnames since we do not know in what year this letter may reach you and times change, as is only logical, and we do not know if you will still be occupying the first magistracy of your respective countries on that date.
The purpose of this open letter is to inform you that in Latin America the conquest of space has already been achieved. It is only natural that you would smile skeptically at such information, possibly considered by you as insolent.
We fulfill the duty to advise you not to spend any more money on cosmic rockets; such money should be better used. Cosmic rockets are useless and a true failure.
At present there is a scientific society with ninety-eight eminent scientists from various European nations in a secret place in South America, in the deep heart of the forest. This society, following in the footsteps of the great sage Guillermo Marconi, learned to use powerful solar energy with great skill.
Currently under the direction of Martian sages, this society builds wonderful interplanetary ships with which they have not only studied all your territories in depth but have also succeeded in traveling to the Moon and Mars.
Needless to say, the aforementioned scientific society has enough money to continue its works thanks to the economic support of the Martians. To clarify, for us it would not be strange for you to indignantly throw this letter away because your pride and skepticism is well known on the planet Earth.
However, within a few years you will have concrete proof of our claims. The liquid fuel that you use for cosmic rockets is not suitable for interplanetary navigation.
Cosmic ships designed by Martians, and built by the wise men of the cited scientific society under the direction of Martian sages, are propelled by solar energy.
The scientists of the aforementioned society are eminently religious, and there is even a priest among them (it doesn’t matter from which religion). We are absolutely convinced that the conquest of space is absolutely impossible if we exclude religiosity.
All inhabitants of the cosmos are deeply religious. All know very well that the divine is latent and immanent in every atom of the infinite. The aforementioned scientific society has built a great subterranean laboratory in the heart of the forest.
This laboratory has everything it needs for research. Contact with Martians was achieved on December 16, 1955, at five o’clock in the afternoon.
At that hour, five Martian machines flew over the jungle, and one landed. Four Martian people descended, among them the Martian leader of the expedition. Since then, contact was established, and cosmic ships from Mars routinely land in that region.
The ninety-eight scientists residing in that deep jungle of South America live normally with the Martians, and they are learning the science of interplanetary navigation from them.
The aforementioned scientists received from the hands of the Martian chief, Mr. Tage, a gold document with the following inscription:
Loga (Mars), universal brother of immense space, pays homage and friendship to Dogue (Earth), in the vehement wish to unite all beings living in one spirit, in the infinite spirit for eternal glory and peace.
We congratulate the Martian leader, Mr. Tage, for his speech of few words. These few words are Sundi, Dogue, Loga, which mean: God, Earth, Mars. With this speech and the golden document, the alliance between Martians and Earthlings was sealed.
We also send our congratulations to Mr. Martinelli for the beautiful and significant ring given to Mr. Tage. On October 12, 1956, at noon, the most important cosmic event of all centuries, after the coming of our Lord the Christ, took place on the face of the Earth.
One of the most illustrious members of the aforementioned scientific society, the illustrious Mr. Narciso Genovese, says the Columbus Expedition left for the planet Mars at that precise hour. We owe a lot to Mr. Narciso Genovese concerning the previously mentioned scientific expedition to Mars. If he receives this letter, may he receive our congratulations.
Just as three ships arrived to America with Columbus, there were also three cosmic ships built by Earth scientists under the direction of Martians.
The names of the three cosmic ships are Loga, Dogue, Cundi (Mars, Earth, Alliance).
The interior of the ships was decorated with the image of Christ, and the journey was carried out with full success. The convoy was formed by three cosmic terrestrial ships, and six Martians who fulfilled the mission of escorting the terrestrial ships.
Nine people formed the crew of the terrestrial ships, three for each of the three terrestrial ships. The first stage of the cosmic flight was the Moon, and it was absolutely proven that the Moon is a planet that is already dead.
The expedition members rested on the Moon, and then continued their journey toward Mars. Ten more ships of Martian origin joined the members of the expedition on the Moon. All the inhabitants of the city of Tanio, capital of the planet Mars, went to the airport to welcome the inhabitants of the Earth.
The expedition members stayed on the planet Mars for five days dedicated to observation and study. They learned a lot on Mars, and after returning victoriously, they continued their studies and research in the heart of the South American jungle.
The ninety-eight European scientists dedicated to this type of research and study under the direction of Martian sages want to share their knowledge with all the inhabitants of Earth. They want all humanity to participate in interplanetary navigation but Russia and the United States, with their atomic experiments and nuclear explosions, are hindering us, they are preventing members of the august scientific society from making all the inhabitants of Earth participants in cosmic voyages.
The two great world wars that filled the world with sorrow, and now the Cold War with every possibility of becoming hot and again filling the world with blood and destruction, are the main factors preventing cultural exchange with Martians and cosmic journeys.
No more cosmic rockets are needed; contact with Martians has already been made. Now what is needed in order to be able to participate in cosmic trips is dissolution of the “I”.
As long as the “I” exists, there will be no peace; and as long as there is no peace, interplanetary travel is impossible. In these precise moments in which we live, it is not cosmic rockets that are needed but study of the “I” and its total death; thus and only thus, will trips to Mars be possible.
It is impossible to take murderers, thieves, drunkards, gluttons, the greedy, materialists, Marxists, enemies of the eternal, prostitutes, and so on to Mars.
Only peace reigns on Mars, and there is not even any need for governments, nationalities, armies, or police. There are no criminals on Mars, and if one was to be born, he would be considered sick and taken to an isolated sanatorium.
Think, gentlemen, of what this means. Think of such a world, a world where the “I” no longer exists. Imagine for a moment an army from Earth invading Mars. Comprehend what such horror, such barbarism, means.
The author of this letter begs you, gentleman, in the name of the truth, to put an end to atomic explosions, to end the Cold War, and to start an epoch of universal religiosity. In particular, I ask the Soviet Union to suspend the public and private dissemination of the materialistic dialectic, and to intensify advertising in favor of religion.
Know, gentleman, that all inhabitants of the cosmos worship divinity, and that the conquest of space is impossible without religiosity. Please, gentlemen, I beg you in the name of Earth’s inhabitants, to not harm us any more with your wars, hatred of divinity, nuclear explosions, etc.
Signed in Mexico, on the fifth day of April, third year of Aquarius,
by the founding president of the Gnostic Movement.
